Title: RN – Obstetrics (Labor, Delivery & Postpartum)
Location: Machias, Maine
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Day Shifts
Weekly Gross: Up to $3000/week (Based on experience)

Job description:

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetrical nursing care
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being
• Assist during labor and delivery procedures
• Care for postpartum mothers and newborns
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
• Manage unit supplies and equipment
• Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments
• Adhere to all hospital policies, nursing standards, and patient confidentiality requirements

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 Years of RN Experience Required
• Minimum 1 Year of Acute Care RN Experience Required
• Recent Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred

Education

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

Licensure

• Active Maine RN License Required
• License Must Be Active at Time of Submission

Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• STABLE Certification
