Senior Endoscopy Technician

Location: Mission Hills, CA

Duration - 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Senior Endoscopy Technician to join a busy outpatient endoscopy center. The ideal candidate will have extensive GI/endoscopy experience, strong scope reprocessing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff in a high-volume procedural environment.

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• No weekends
• No holidays
• No on-call requirements
• No floating to sister facilities
• Local candidates accepted
• Facility may cancel up to one shift per pay period

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of Endoscopy Technician experience
• BLS Certification
• One of the following:
  • SGNA Education/Certification for GI/Endoscopy
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Endoscopy experience
• Experience working in an Endoscopy Center or GI Lab

Required Clinical Experience:

• Upper Endoscopy (EGD)
• Colonoscopy
• Polypectomy
• Biopsy Procedures
• PEG Placement
• Banding Procedures
• Balloon Dilation
• Bravo Procedures
• Endoscopic Procedural Assistance
• High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and Scope Reprocessing

Required Equipment Experience:

• Colonoscopes
• EGD Scopes
• EBUS Scopes
• EUS Scopes
• Enteroscopes
• ERCP Scopes
• Fiber Optic Endoscopes
• Flexible Sigmoidoscopes

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Olympus CV-190 Processor
• Olympus CLV-190 Light Source
• Olympus 190 Series Scopes
• Olympus OER-Pro Reprocessing System
• Erbe Electrosurgical Unit and Cautery Equipment
• CO₂ Insufflation Systems
• Back Table Setup
• Procedure Room Setup
• Epic EMR
• ProVation Documentation System
