Job Title: Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech)
Location: North Bergen, NJ 07047
Job Type: Contract | 14 Weeks
Shift: Evening Shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM)
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | 5 Days/Week
We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join a hospital imaging team and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality images
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform portable X-ray procedures across patient care areas
• Assist with fluoroscopy and C-arm procedures
• Utilize PACS systems for image review and documentation
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles
• Support contrast media procedures when required
• Verify patient identity and maintain accurate records
• Provide compassionate patient care while maintaining confidentiality
• Maintain clean and organized imaging areas and equipment
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of Radiology/X-Ray Technologist experience
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Strong experience in diagnostic imaging and patient positioning
• Experience with fluoroscopy and C-arm procedures
• Experience with PACS systems
• Knowledge of radiation safety and anatomy
Required Certifications & Licenses:
• ARRT Certification
• New Jersey State Radiologic License
• NJDEP Certification
• AHA BLS Certification
