Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Duration - 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Women's Services team at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital. Candidates should be comfortable caring for high-risk obstetric patients in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details:

• 13-Week Assignment
• Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Every other weekend required
• Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week pay period

Required Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Required Skills:

• Labor & Delivery experience as outlined by unit requirements
• Charge Nurse experience preferred or willingness to train into a charge role
• Ability to manage high-risk obstetric patients

Licensure Requirements:

• Alaska RN license preferred
• Pending Alaska RN license accepted if the candidate can complete the application process within 48 hours of signing, including fingerprint submission, application fee payment, and application submission
• Alaska RN license must be in hand to qualify for Auto Offer
