Job Title: EEO Investigator (Healthcare Environment)
Location: New York, NY 10041
Duration: 8 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: 09:00 AM – 05:30 PM

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EEO Investigator to conduct workplace investigations within a healthcare environment. This role focuses on handling cases related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) matters while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations related to workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee complaints
  • Interview complainants, witnesses, and management to gather relevant information
  • Review documents, emails, records, and other materials as part of investigations
  • Prepare detailed investigative reports, findings, and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws and internal policies
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and leadership teams on investigation outcomes and corrective actions
  • Support special projects and additional assignments as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; JD preferred
  • 4+ years of experience conducting EEO or workplace investigations
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and anti-discrimination laws
  • Excellent analytical, investigative, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and neutrality
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare or corporate environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience conducting investigations in healthcare or large organizational settings
  • Ability to analyze complex information and provide clear, actionable recommendations
  • Experience working with diverse employee populations and cross-functional teams
