Job Title: Cardiac Device Specialist / Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Cardiac Device Specialist / Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pacemaker, ICD, and cardiac device interrogations and programming
  • Assist with electrophysiology procedures and cardiac rhythm management services
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient device data and findings
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation and charge entry
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding cardiac devices and electrophysiology services
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Troubleshoot device-related issues and provide technical support
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety protocols

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with pacemaker and ICD interrogation and programming required
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Cardiac Device Technology, Electrophysiology (EP), Cardiology, or MRI Operations preferred
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology Technology program or equivalent education and experience preferred
  • Experience in a cardiology or electrophysiology setting preferred
  • Experience with EMR documentation and charge entry preferred
  • Experience educating patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding cardiac devices and electrophysiology monitoring preferred
