Title: ICU Registered Nurse – Neuro / Trauma Critical Care

Location: Mission Hills, CA

Duration: Contract Assignment 

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse with strong Neuro and high-acuity critical care experience. This role supports a Level II Trauma and Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center managing complex and critically ill patients including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and surgical cases.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct ICU-level care for critically ill patients

  • Manage neuro, stroke, STEMI, and trauma cases

  • Care for patients with multi-system failure including sepsis and CRRT

  • Monitor and support post-surgical cardiac patients (CABG, valve, IABP)

  • Respond to rapid clinical deterioration and emergency situations

  • Administer and titrate critical medications and drips

  • Perform continuous hemodynamic and neurological monitoring

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary ICU and PCU teams

  • Float to ICU overflow and stepdown units as needed

  • Ensure accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications:

  • Active California RN License (no pending accepted)

  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience required

  • Strong Neuro ICU experience required

  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, LA Fire Card required

  • First-time travelers not accepted
