Title: ICU Registered Nurse – Neuro / Trauma Critical Care
Location: Mission Hills, CA
Duration: Contract Assignment
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse with strong Neuro and high-acuity critical care experience. This role supports a Level II Trauma and Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center managing complex and critically ill patients including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and surgical cases.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct ICU-level care for critically ill patients
Manage neuro, stroke, STEMI, and trauma cases
Care for patients with multi-system failure including sepsis and CRRT
Monitor and support post-surgical cardiac patients (CABG, valve, IABP)
Respond to rapid clinical deterioration and emergency situations
Administer and titrate critical medications and drips
Perform continuous hemodynamic and neurological monitoring
Collaborate with multidisciplinary ICU and PCU teams
Float to ICU overflow and stepdown units as needed
Ensure accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications:
Active California RN License (no pending accepted)
Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
Strong Neuro ICU experience required
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, LA Fire Card required
