Title: ER Registered Nurse (Level II Trauma Center)
Location: Lubbock, TX
Duration: Contract Assignment
Shift: Rotating ER Shifts (Block scheduling optional)
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity patient care in a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate must be confident in fast-paced emergency settings and capable of managing a 1:3 patient ratio.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct emergency nursing care in a high-acuity ER setting
Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with acute conditions
Administer medications and emergency treatments
Manage trauma, cardiac, neurological, and pediatric emergencies
Perform rapid response and critical interventions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary trauma and emergency teams
Document patient care accurately using EMR systems
Maintain compliance with hospital safety and infection control protocols
Participate in emergency codes and resuscitation efforts
Required Qualifications:
Active RN License required
Minimum 2 years ER experience (strict requirement)
ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
Ability to work weekends (6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks required)
Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
