Job Title: Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Location: Portland, OR

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | Night Shift (5x8-Hour Shifts)

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide compassionate care and support to geriatric residents in a long-term care and assisted living environment. The PCT will assist residents with daily living activities, support care planning, and collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Provide compassionate support to elderly residents with minimal supervision

  • Coordinate daily tasks with other Patient Care Technicians and healthcare staff

  • Participate in resident orientation and onboarding processes

  • Assist in implementing individualized care and service plans

  • Observe and report changes in resident conditions to appropriate staff

  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding resident care

  • Promote resident safety, comfort, and dignity at all times

  • Support interdisciplinary team efforts to provide quality care

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with seniors

  • Current BCLS Certification

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable transportation required

  • Ability to work every weekend

  • Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or senior care settings preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • QuickMAR experience

  • Experience with electronic charting systems
