Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult ICU
Location: New York, NY
Shift: Night Shift
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Adult ICU units in a large acute care hospital. Candidates will be assigned to units based on experience and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced critical care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in Adult ICU settings
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Respond effectively to changes in patient condition
Maintain high standards of patient safety and infection control
Deliver care with minimal orientation and supervision
Requirements:
Active New York State RN License
Current BLS Certification
Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU experience within the past 2 years
Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers required
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Experience in hospitals of similar or greater size required
Must pass background check, drug screening, and health clearance
Additional Information:
Every other weekend required
Some holidays required
