Job Title: Travel Medical Technologist
Location: Morristown, VT
Job Type: Contract Travel Assignment
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days/Evenings | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
EMR System: CPSI/Evident
We are seeking a Medical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Morristown, Vermont. The ideal candidate will perform laboratory testing and analysis, maintain quality standards, assist with phlebotomy and receptionist duties, and collaborate with nursing and medical staff to support quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform laboratory testing and analysis according to department procedures and regulations
Accurately report and document test results
Maintain quality control standards and perform equipment maintenance
Correlate laboratory findings with clinical information through chart review
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and physicians regarding results
Perform receptionist and phlebotomy duties as needed
Ensure compliance with all State and Federal healthcare regulations
Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality
Support daily laboratory workflow and operations
Requirements
Medical Technologist experience preferred
Ability to work Days/Evenings shifts
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced laboratory environment
Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR systems preferred
Previous hospital laboratory experience preferred
