We are seeking experienced ICU/PCU Registered Nurses (RN) for a critical care assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This opportunity is ideal for skilled nurses who thrive in high-acuity environments and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in ICU and Progressive Care settings.
The RN will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care in ICU and Progressive Care settings
Assess, monitor, and evaluate critically ill patients
Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care treatments
Monitor cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and patient responses to treatment
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
Respond rapidly to emergency situations and patient status changes
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection prevention standards
Participate in shift handoffs, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient care planning
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required
Minimum 1 year of ICU/PCU or Critical Care experience required
Current BLS Certification required
Current ACLS Certification required
PALS Certification preferred
Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Ability to work both day and night shifts
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Experience in high-acuity hospital settings preferred
