Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract | 14 Weeks (With high possibility of extension or permanent placement)
Shift & Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Labor & Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor and delivery
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond to changes in patient status
• Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and medication administration
• Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation as required
• Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program required
• Active New York State RN License required
• NYSED Verification required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• AHA ACLS Certification required
• NRP Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child nursing experience required
• Minimum 2 years of IV Insertion and Phlebotomy experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience required
