Job Title: Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III

Location: Hyannis, MA
Duration: 13-Week Contract with Possible Extension
Schedule: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Weekly
Additional Requirements: Every Other Weekend & Rotating Holidays
Break: 30-Minute Unpaid Break Included

Compensation:

  • Local Pay: $1,440/week
  • Traveler Pay: $1,730.16/week

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III to support patient care through specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac testing within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience performing EKG testing, phlebotomy procedures, and delivering compassionate patient-centered care while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct non-invasive cardiac testing including EKG procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic testing while ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Monitor and document patient information accurately within clinical systems
  • Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of diagnostic equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and testing records
  • Deliver compassionate care while working effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Support departmental workflow and patient care operations during night shifts

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Certifications:

  • Current Phlebotomy Certification (PBT) required
  • Current EKG Certification required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required

Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within healthcare teams
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
