Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg + Stepdown Float
Location: Globe, AZ
Shift: 12-Hour Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Globe, Arizona. The selected candidate must be comfortable floating to Stepdown as needed and participating in on-call rotation.
This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong acute care experience who can adapt quickly in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg and Stepdown units
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Participate in on-call rotation and holiday coverage as required
Ensure patient safety and adherence to facility protocols and standards
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum 4 years of recent nursing experience required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Must be willing to float to Stepdown units
Holiday coverage required
Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
Additional Information
100-mile radius rule applies
Flu vaccine required with no exceptions
Maximum 3 days RTO allowed per contract
Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during assignment
