Location: Eureka, Kansas
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an immediate start in a skilled nursing facility. The LPN will provide direct resident care during night shifts, often working as the sole nurse on duty, ensuring safe, accurate, and compassionate care delivery.
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly
Maintain accurate documentation using Point Click Care (PCC)
Supervise and support nursing assistants during shift
Perform clinical procedures including wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection
Record and monitor vital signs (BP, TPR, etc.)
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Manage resident care independently during night shift coverage
Communicate effectively with healthcare team and leadership
Perform additional duties as assigned
Active LPN License (Kansas or compact license)
Graduation from an approved LPN program
BLS/CPR Certification required
IV Certification preferred
Strong ability to work independently in low-staffing environment
Prior long-term care experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
36 hours one week / 48 hours next week (rotating block schedule)
12-hour night shifts (6 PM – 6 AM)
Every other weekend required
ASAP Start Required (prior to 05/23 preferred)
Facility Census: ~45 residents
