Location: New York, NY
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks

Schedule

  • 3x12 Schedule (3 Days/Week)

  • 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • 34.5 Hours/Week


Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract assignment in New York, NY. The technologist will perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiology protocols in a fast-paced clinical environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI imaging procedures following departmental protocols

  • Position patients and MRI coils for optimal imaging results

  • Review MRI safety questionnaires before procedures

  • Educate patients regarding MRI procedures and safety guidelines

  • Evaluate image quality and make technical adjustments as needed

  • Transfer images to PACS and maintain accurate RIS documentation

  • Maintain MRI suite cleanliness and infection control standards

  • Enforce MRI safety procedures and screening protocols

  • Assist radiologists and physicians during imaging procedures

  • Schedule and coordinate imaging appointments within RIS system

  • Monitor equipment performance and report technical issues

  • Participate in departmental training and continuing education


Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program

  • ARRT MRI Registry Certification required

  • New York State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required

  • BLS / BCLS Certification required

  • Strong knowledge of MRI physics, anatomy, and imaging procedures

  • Excellent technical imaging and patient care skills

  • Preferred: 2+ years of MRI technologist experience
