Job Title: EKG Tech / ED Tech / Phlebotomist (Travelers Only)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12.5 Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays
Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Type: Travel Contract

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an EKG Tech / ED Tech / Phlebotomist for an exciting Travel assignment in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Draw blood and collect/transport clinical specimens to the laboratory
• Perform EKGs, Holter monitor placement, and stress testing per protocol
• Verify patient identification prior to specimen collection
• Instruct patients on proper specimen collection procedures
• Complete required lab documentation, cardiac testing records, and billing information
• Document testing data accurately in hospital systems and logs
• Communicate workflow updates, order changes, and test requirements with clinical teams
• Assist nursing units with specimen collection and testing support
• Maintain PPE compliance and hospital safety standards
• Troubleshoot specimen collection issues and provide service recovery support
• Keep testing areas clean, stocked, and organized
• Support orientation and training of staff/students
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and departmental meetings
• Ensure efficient use of supplies and resources

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Phlebotomy Certification (PBT) required
• EKG Certification required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Acute care hospital experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and rotating holiday
