Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Palmyra, MO
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Shift: Variable Evenings – 8-Hour Shifts

Compensation:

• Traveler Pay: $37–$39/hr based on experience
• Local Pay: $31–$33/hr based on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician while assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, and daily healthcare operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under physician or Registered Nurse supervision
• Take and document vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations
• Assist physicians during examinations and minor medical procedures
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed
• Perform clinical tasks such as wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Required Qualifications:

• Current Missouri or Compact State LPN License
• Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty required
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
