Job Title: Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Scientist
Location: Oak Hill, FL
Type: Full-Time | Night Shift | Rotating Weekends
Shift:
10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
8, 10, or 12-hour shifts available
Pay:
$27.09 – $37.92/hr
On-Call Pay: $2.00/hr
Night Differential: $2.50/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Scientist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Oak Hill, FL.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and stat clinical laboratory testing in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology
• Ensure accurate and timely test results following laboratory procedures and regulatory standards
• Perform quality control, calibration, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance
• Review pending logs, resolve workload issues, and document patient results accurately
• Handle critical specimens and test results according to established procedures
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, referral testing, and inventory monitoring
• Support compliance with CAP and other regulatory requirements
• Assist in department operations in the absence of the supervisor

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Florida Medical Technologist License required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Technologist/MLS experience required
• Strong experience in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology preferred
