Job Description:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 24-bed Renal/Medical Surgical unit specializing in kidney disease and kidney transplant care. This unit provides care for transplant patients, general med/surg patients, and patients requiring specialized renal treatments including peritoneal dialysis. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment and floating as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care for renal and medical/surgical patients
Monitor and assess patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Support kidney transplant patients throughout the continuum of care
Perform specialized renal care including peritoneal dialysis procedures
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Provide culturally competent and age-specific patient care
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Nursing required
Previous acute care RN experience required
Experience in renal, transplant, or med/surg settings preferred
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently in fast-paced hospital environments
Ability to float as needed
Certifications:
Current Ohio RN License or Compact License required
BLS Certification (AHA) required
