Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab
Location: Medford, OR
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:
• Day Shift – 5x8 Hour Shifts
• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Includes unpaid 30-minute lunch
• No Weekends
• No On-Call
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy services to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery
• Assist patients in improving functional mobility, self-care, and activities of daily living
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation teams
• Float occasionally to Acute Care units depending on IRF census needs
Requirements:
• Active Oregon Occupational Therapist License required
• License pending candidates accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Experience in inpatient rehab or acute care preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills required
