Job Title: RN – Outpatient Clinic / Addiction Recovery Services

Location: Trumansburg, NY

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift:
• Variable / Rotating Shifts
• Days / Nights | 5x8s
• 40 Hours Weekly

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accountability for quality patient care
• Complete physical and mental health assessments including vital signs, risk assessments, and withdrawal assessments (COWS)
• Administer and monitor prescribed medications and treatment plans
• Observe, document, and report behavioral changes
• Maintain medication control and documentation
• Triage emergent medical concerns and coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives

Requirements:
• Active RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• CPI Training completion within 3 months of hire required
• Medication Competency Examination completion required
• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required
• BSN preferred
• Experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, detox, or psychiatric nursing preferred
• Knowledge of withdrawal assessments such as COWS preferred
• Familiarity with OASAS and Medicaid compliance standards preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and nights
