Travel Rate: $4,298.5/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative, operational, and clinical oversight to General Pediatric, PICU, and NICU units
• Ensure coordination of care across all pediatric acuity levels
• Implement evidence-based, family-centered clinical practices and pediatric/neonatal protocols
• Ensure compliance with DOH, Joint Commission, CMS, and AAP standards
• Supervise and mentor nurse managers, educators, and frontline staff
• Support workforce development, retention, and clinical competency initiatives
• Oversee staffing, workflow management, and unit resource allocation
• Support emergency preparedness and service line operations
Qualifications
• Proven leadership experience in acute care pediatric or neonatal settings (Director, ADON, or Senior Nurse Manager level)
• Strong clinical expertise in PICU and/or NICU environments
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of New York
• BLS Certification required
• BSN required; MSN/MHA/MBA preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills
