Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for an outpatient clinic setting in Santa Monica, California. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical support skills, proficiency with blood draws, and experience working with Epic EMR.

Requirements

Experience & Education

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient clinic setting required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program required

Required Certifications

• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)

Required Skills

• Proficiency with blood draws
• Epic EMR experience required
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
• Perform blood draws and specimen collection
• Record patient information accurately in Epic EMR
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
• Support patient flow and clinic operations
• Provide excellent patient service and care coordination
