Job Title: RN - Adult Care
Location: New York, NY
Shift & Schedule: 37.50 Hours per Week | 5 Days per Week | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Every other weekend coverage required
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Adult Care for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Duties:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Provide bedside nursing care for pre- and post-surgery patients
• Administer medications and document records
• Perform wound care, infection control, and dressing changes
• Insert catheters and start IV therapy
• Monitor vitals and report adverse reactions
• Assist with discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on care and recovery
• Maintain patient records and documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience (acute or post-acute, recent within 1 year)
• Experience in home care (traveling to patient homes required)
• Active New York State RN License
• BLS (AHA) required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
