Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Full-Time | Permanent Contingent
Available Shifts: Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Incentives

• Pay Range: $27.72/hr – $39.60/hr (based on experience)
• Up to $36.30/hr for candidates with 10 years of experience
• Up to $39.60/hr for candidates with 15+ years of experience
• Night Shift Differential: +$4.25/hr
• Sign-On Bonus:
  • $10,000 for Day Shift
  • $15,000 for Night Shift
• Relocation Assistance available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

A leading acute care hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a compassionate and skilled Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join its medical-surgical team in a permanent contingent role. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions during admission and throughout assigned shifts
• Identify and report changes in patient status promptly
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform patient monitoring and clinical procedures as ordered
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records
• Deliver compassionate and responsive patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Follow nursing standards, infection control protocols, and safety guidelines
• Advocate for patient needs while ensuring a positive patient experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Acute care experience not required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 30 days of start date
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
