Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting

Location: Walterboro, South Carolina
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 37.5 Hours per Week
Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Contract Duration: 42 Weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based assignments in Walterboro, South Carolina for the 2026–2027 academic year. These opportunities are ideal for compassionate and student-focused clinicians who are passionate about supporting communication development and educational success in pediatric populations.

Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.

Opening #1

Locations:

  • Forest Hills Elementary
  • Hendersonville Elementary

Caseload: Approximately 36 students
Age Group: Pre-K through 6th Grade

Opening #2

Location:

  • Northside Elementary

Caseload: Approximately 42 students
Age Group: 1st through 6th Grade

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Support students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders
  • Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning
  • Deliver therapy services in accordance with school district and state guidelines
  • Promote student success within the educational environment

Requirements

  • Active South Carolina SLP License required
  • Active South Carolina Educator Certificate required
  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) accepted
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills required

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing school-based caseloads
  • IEP development and documentation experience
  • Pediatric speech and language therapy
  • Collaboration within multidisciplinary educational teams
  • Time management and organizational skills
