Schedule:

• Day Shift
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 12-Hour Shifts
• 36 Guaranteed Hours Weekly
• 30-Minute Meal Break

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/T-LPN) for a travel contract assignment in Elkins, WV. This opportunity is within a long-term care and rehabilitation setting, providing direct patient care and nursing support to residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, and the ability to deliver compassionate resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in long-term care and rehabilitation settings
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes promptly
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and charting
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures
• Collaborate with CNAs, nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support infection control and patient safety initiatives
• Respond effectively to patient care needs and emergencies
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Active LPN License required
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Strong medication administration and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
