Local Pay: up to $3,100 Weekly
Travel Pay: up to $3,600 Weekly
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x12 | Total Weekly Hours: 36

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Pediatric ICU RN for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the Pediatric ICU
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient conditions closely
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products as ordered
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures
• Assist with conscious sedation procedures and patient monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor vital signs, ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other critical care equipment
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate patients’ families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards, infection control policies, and patient care protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of Maternal and Child nursing experience required
• Minimum two (2) years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience required
• Minimum two (2) years of conscious sedation experience required

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Licensure / Certification

• Active New York State RN License required
• Primary Source Verification from NYSED required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• AHA PALS Certification required
