Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a long-term travel assignment in a pediatric hospital setting. This role follows a 7-on/7-off schedule and supports inpatient pharmacy operations in a collaborative healthcare environment. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

The position will initially be scheduled on night shifts and later transition to a day shift schedule to provide coverage support during a leave period.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications for inpatient populations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor medication therapy for safety, accuracy, and effectiveness
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies
• Support pediatric inpatient pharmacy operations and patient care initiatives
• Accurately document medication activities within the EMR system

Requirements

• Active Texas Pharmacist license required
• Previous inpatient pharmacist experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight operations
