Job Title: CT Technologist – Weekend Shift

Location: Manhattan, New York
Job Type: Contract Assignment
Duration: 9 Weeks (Possible Extension)

Schedule

• Saturday & Sunday
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM
• 32 Hours per Week
• 16 Hours per Day

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $60 – $85/hour
  Based on experience.

Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Manhattan, New York is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a contract assignment. The technologist will perform CT imaging procedures, maintain imaging quality standards, and provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to prescribed imaging protocols
• Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic images
• Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain ALARA compliance
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate patient imaging records and department documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to support quality patient care
• Monitor equipment functionality and report issues as needed

Qualifications

• Active New York State License (L.R.T.) required
• ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program preferred
