Location: Joplin, Missouri
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension or permanent placement)

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Weekly
• Shift Type: Day Shift
• Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) travel assignment in Joplin, Missouri. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to medically complex and critically ill patients in a fast-paced LTAC setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in LTAC, telemetry, acute care, or critical care environments and possess strong patient assessment and clinical monitoring skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to LTAC patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams on patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and patient safety protocols
• Support care coordination and continuity of care initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
• Active RN License required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Previous RN experience required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
