• Day Shift – 3x12 Hours
• 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
• 36 Hours Guaranteed

Position Overview

A leading acute care hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Med/Surg and acute care surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience caring for adult and geriatric patients, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies
• Perform wound care and manage chest tubes, feeding tubes, and respiratory support
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Float to Acute Care/Med/Surg units as required
• Participate in weekend coverage rotation

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Experience with acute care and post-operative patients preferred
• EMR experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
• Active RN License or Compact License required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS preferred
