Location: Plainview, TX
Employment Type: Travel or Local Contract
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Schedule & On-Call Details

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 4x10-hour shifts
• On-call required:
  • Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 24-hour on-call coverage
• Weekend on-call participation required

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist / Echo Tech to join a fast-paced acute care hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across multiple ultrasound and echocardiography specialties and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality patient care.

This position requires expertise in a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures including general ultrasound, women’s imaging, vascular studies, and adult echocardiography.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound and echocardiography procedures including:
  • General Ultrasound
  • Fetal Ultrasound
  • OB/GYN Ultrasound
  • Breast Ultrasound
  • Transvaginal Ultrasound
  • Vascular Ultrasound
  • Adult Echocardiograms
  • Contrast Echo
  • Echo Stress Treadmill Studies
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
• Review physician orders and patient history before examinations
• Accurately document imaging procedures within EMR/PACS systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper functionality
• Participate in required on-call rotation coverage

Required Qualifications

• Strong multispecialty ultrasound and echocardiography experience required
• Experience in:
  • General Ultrasound
  • Fetal Ultrasound
  • OB/GYN
  • Breast Imaging
  • Transvaginal Ultrasound
  • Vascular Ultrasound
  • Adult Echo
  • Contrast Echo
  • Echo Stress Treadmill Procedures
• Current applicable ultrasound and/or echocardiography credentials required
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
