Job Title: Physical Therapist – Acute Care Hospital
Location: Lubbock, TX
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (08:00 AM – 05:00 PM) | Weekly Hours: 40 Hours Guaranteed

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Physical Therapist – Acute Care Hospital for an exciting Travel or Local job in Lubbock, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and patient assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide gait training, mobility assistance, and therapeutic exercises
• Treat orthopedic and neurologic conditions in acute care settings
• Educate patients and families on home exercise and recovery plans
• Complete accurate documentation in EPIC EMR

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year acute care PT experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• EPIC experience required
• Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy program
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
• Active Texas PT License or Compact License required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with post-op orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation
• Skilled in gait training, mobility assistance, and patient assessments
• Experience with stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s, and orthopedic recovery preferred
