Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Santa Rosa, California
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 5x8-Hour
Possible shift times include:

• 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Oncology Clinic RN for a busy outpatient oncology infusion clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced travelers and first-time travelers looking to gain valuable oncology clinic experience in a supportive environment.

The clinic team values travelers as integral members of the staff, and leadership is known for providing strong support, recognition, and positive traveler experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer oncology infusions and related treatments safely and accurately
• Perform approximately 6 infusions and 1–2 port draws daily
• Monitor patients during infusion therapy and assess for adverse reactions
• Operate Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and clinic staff to coordinate patient care
• Document patient care accurately within Epic EMR
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and side effects
• Maintain compliance with oncology safety and infection control standards

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Oncology clinic or infusion experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Certifications

• BLS Certification required
• Oncology Certification required (ONCC or ONS)

Skills

• Experience with infusion therapy
• Familiarity with Alaris Infusion Pumps
• Experience using CADD Ambulatory Pumps
• EPIC experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
