Job Title: Occupational Therapist – School
Location: Cicero, IL
Contract Duration: 42 Weeks
Pay Rate:
Local: Up to $40/hr
Travel: Up to $50/hr Including Stipend
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Weekly Hours: 37.5 Hours | Monday – Friday

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Occupational Therapist – School for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cicero, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting
• Evaluate students for fine motor, sensory, and functional skill needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
• Deliver therapy in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress reviews
• Maintain documentation and compliance reports
• Support handwriting, motor coordination, and daily living skills development
• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
• Ensure compliance with district and state education requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license required (in hand prior to start)
• Prior school-based OT experience required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Strong understanding of IEP and special education processes
• In-person availability required (no remote option)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
• Experience working with pediatric school populations required
• Ability to manage caseload independently in school setting
