Job Title: RN – Ambulatory (Hematology/Oncology)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate:
Local: Up to $56/hr
Travel: Up to $65/hr
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Weekly Hours: 42.5 Hours | Monday – Friday

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Ambulatory (Hematology/Oncology) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to hematology and oncology patients in ambulatory setting
• Perform patient assessments and monitor condition changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, chemotherapy, and infusion treatments as ordered
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and side effects
• Collaborate with physicians, infusion teams, and healthcare staff
• Monitor and document patient responses in EMR (EPIC preferred)
• Ensure compliance with infection control and oncology care standards
• Respond to adverse reactions or patient emergencies
• Provide compassionate support to oncology patients

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (NY)
• BLS required
• 1.5+ years acute care experience
• Outpatient oncology/infusion experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
