Job Title: CNA – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Location: Alturas, CA 96101
Job Type: Contract – 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, Nights, Weekends (Flexibility Required)
About the Role:
Seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide individualized resident care within a Skilled Nursing Facility environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient and resident care
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
Perform assessments of new or ill residents
Document patient information per facility policy
Report condition changes to nursing staff
Assist with rounds and monitor residents after falls or injuries
Promote teamwork with residents, families, physicians, and staff
Float to other units as needed
Support resident comfort and safety
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
Active California CNA license required
Less than 1 year of experience accepted
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
Strong patient care and documentation skills
