  • Shift: 08:00 AM – 12:00 AM

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a short-term contract assignment in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, equipment functionality, and adherence to regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
  • Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment prior to patient use
  • Administer contrast materials or radiopharmaceuticals as per physician orders and protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation including logs, reports, and charge entries
  • Perform quality assurance and safety checks in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Follow radiation safety protocols in alignment with ALARA principles
  • Manage patient imaging data and ensure availability for radiologist interpretation
  • Coordinate ordering, receipt, and verification of radiopharmaceuticals as required
  • Monitor and report any equipment issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Strong understanding of imaging protocols and patient safety practices

Certifications & Licensure:

  • New York State License (Radiologic Technologist – L.R.T) required
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT (required)
  • BLS Certification (required)

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
