Location: Utica, NY 13502
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, prior travel experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Operate and manage specialty equipment such as IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Float to other units as required

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of recent Medical/Surgical experience
• Travel experience required
• Active New York RN License (must be in good standing)
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Completed skills checklist relevant to specialty
• NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses
• Valid driver’s license (address must match application details)
• Resume reflecting recent and relevant experience
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at time of application

• Local candidates accepted (local rate applies for those within 75 miles)
• Floating may be required based on facility needs
