Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN)
Location: Watertown, NY 13601
Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: Rotating Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 14-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment, and excellent patient care and communication skills.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room experience
• Active New York State RN License
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Must comply with a 100-mile radius rule

Additional Qualifications

• Candidates without recent OR experience must complete and pass a Perioperative Nursing Program (Peri-op 101) within six months as a condition of employment
• Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical experience preferred
• Prior experience in charge nurse, preceptorship, or leadership roles is a plus
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to interpret lethal dysrhythmias

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Operating Room setting
• Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile surgical environment
• Monitor patient condition and respond to clinical needs effectively
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Identify safety risks and implement appropriate patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards
