Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Mission Viejo, CA 92691
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule:

• Shift: Day (4x10-Hour Shifts)
• Hours: 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM
• On-Call: Approximately 8 days per month
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends (may exceed every other weekend)
• Flexibility required for variable shifts and floating to nearby facilities

Compensation:

• Travel Pay: Up to $3,320/week (for candidates residing 50+ miles away)
• Local Pay: Up to $2,600/week (for candidates within 50 miles)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiac catheterization procedures, including both scrubbing and circulating, and a solid understanding of interventional cardiology workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Perform and support procedures such as PCI, PTCA, stent placements, and heart catheterizations
• Assist with permanent and temporary pacemaker insertions
• Maintain sterile field and function effectively as both scrub and circulator
• Perform EKG lead placement and monitor cardiac rhythms
• Support electrophysiology (EP) procedures (preferred)
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to procedural and radiation safety protocols
• Work across inpatient and outpatient settings as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Prior travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Strong experience in both circulating and scrubbing roles
• Experience in a community hospital setting required
• Ability to take call and work rotating weekends
• Flexibility to float and adapt to schedule changes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electrophysiology (EP) experience strongly preferred

Certifications:

• ARRT (Required) (RCIS not accepted)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Fluoroscopy Permit (Required)

Education:

• Degree or certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field
