Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) | Part-Time

Schedule:

• Shift: Day (Varied)
• Hours: 22.5 hours/week
• Timing: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation:

• Traveler Pay: $76 – $86/hour
• Local Pay: $58 – $68/hour

Position Overview:

A well-established healthcare facility is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety, maintain imaging standards, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures following established clinical protocols
• Utilize appropriate technical parameters (kV, mA) to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Conduct daily quality control (QC) and calibration checks on CT equipment
• Administer contrast agents as per physician orders and departmental guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation, including logs, reports, and patient records
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
• Manage and retrieve imaging data for radiologist interpretation
• Verify and handle radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols
• Monitor patient condition and provide care before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams

• Strong expertise in CT imaging and diagnostic quality assurance
• Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA compliance
• Excellent patient care and clinical judgment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education & Requirements:

• Valid New York State (NYS DOH) Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
• ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of CT imaging experience
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
