Salary Range: $38.50 – $57.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Director of Behavioral Health to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a behavioral health department within an acute care hospital setting. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, driving performance improvement initiatives, managing staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The Director will serve as a key liaison between patients, families, physicians, and hospital leadership, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations of the Behavioral Health department
• Develop and implement departmental goals aligned with organizational objectives
• Drive quality improvement initiatives, patient safety, and patient satisfaction
• Manage staffing, performance evaluations, and professional development of team members
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards
• Monitor departmental productivity, budgeting, and resource utilization
• Oversee the delivery of patient-centered behavioral health services
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination
• Optimize operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of care
• Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Master’s Degree (required within 6 months of hire)
• Minimum 5 years of Director-level Behavioral Health experience

OR

• 5+ years of Behavioral Health leadership experience in an acute care setting (Manager-level candidates may be considered)
