Location: Humble, TX
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $30 – $32 per hour


Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to join a clinical sleep lab team. This role involves performing comprehensive sleep studies, conducting patient assessments, and supporting the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a patient-focused approach to care.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification

Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience performing polysomnographic studies
  • Proficiency with:
    • CPAP/BiPAP titrations
    • Natus SleepWorks system
    • Pediatric patient care
  • Ability to lift 75–100 lbs occasionally and carry up to 30 lbs
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and monitor overnight polysomnographic sleep studies
  • Review physician orders, patient history, and testing protocols prior to procedures
  • Conduct patient interviews to evaluate sleep habits, medications, and related factors
  • Carry out complex diagnostic and therapeutic sleep procedures
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and sanitation of sleep lab equipment
  • Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Accurately document findings and maintain clinical records in compliance with standards
  • Mentor and support junior staff as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training, education, and competency development
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
