Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Location: Eureka, California
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $2,700 – $3,677 per week (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join a reputable acute care facility. This role involves delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by oncologists while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and approved treatment plans
• Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to ensure precise treatment delivery
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records (Epic)
• Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adhere to strict radiation safety standards and quality assurance protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• ARRT (Radiation Therapy Certification – T) required
• BLS Certification required
• Active state license required (pending licenses not accepted)
