Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" isseeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Infusion / Ambulatory Care role in Syracuse, New York. The RN will provide infusion therapies in an outpatient setting with a focus on patient safety, accurate administration of medications, and high-quality nursing care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusion therapies and medications in an ambulatory setting
• Monitor patients during and after infusion procedures for adverse reactions
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments in an outpatient environment
• Provide patient education related to treatment plans and infusion care
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams for patient care coordination
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Deliver care with minimal supervision after orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within last 2 years)
• Current BLS certification (must be maintainable/renewable)
• Strong infusion therapy experience (mandatory)
• Ability to perform patient care independently in an ambulatory setting
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent outpatient and oncology infusion experience
• Experience in hospitals of similar or larger size or trauma level
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
