Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital in Lubbock, Texas. The role involves providing direct inpatient rehabilitation services in a Level II Trauma Center. This position is open to first-time travelers and therapists with at least one year of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient physical therapy evaluations and treatments
• Develop individualized rehabilitation and mobility plans
• Work with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and nursing staff
• Support patient recovery following surgery, injury, or acute illness
• Document patient progress in accordance with hospital standards
• Educate patients and families regarding mobility and recovery goals
• Maintain compliance with hospital safety and clinical protocols
• Manage a 1:1 patient care model in an acute care setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license (Texas or compact eligible)
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted)
• Acute care hospital experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
• BLS Certification required
